Private Network (Extranet)
Our private network or “Extranet” adds simplicity by allowing for private network access to all peripherals. This “Extranet” allows us to configure and control input devices such as RFID readers, and output devices such as RFID printers directly through the web, without the need for access inside your firewall. Utilizing the Identity Server 3, we provide token-based security for your data.
Automated real-time alerts notify our tech team in the event one of our Extranets goes offline. VPN access allows instant visibility into our network, ensuring 99.9% uptime, ultimately providing quick access to support machines in our network.
Cloud Based / AWS Environment
There is no need to manage your own data center due to our web-based SaaS application. Hosted in the AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud environment, this approach ensures our application is accessible, securely from any device with internet connection. AWS’s elastic cloud environment provides on-demand resources as business needs change.
SQL or BigData/NoSQL Database Options
We provide two methods of calculating customer inventories to cater to customers of all sizes.
Support for small inventories is managed using our SQL servers. This architecture provides support for customers with thousands of items.
For customers requiring massive vertical and horizontal scalability (millions of items), we offer our BigData solution. Built on the classic lambda architecture of utilizing both Spark batching and streaming methods, we provide near real-time inventory data for both massive single inventories, as well as millions of smaller inventories.
RFID Data Capture Methods
Our software allows for the collecting of reads, or “tag events”, from any EPC Class 1 Gen 2 reader. This flexibility of being able to integrate with any modern reader, ensures we offer the newest, high-quality readers, ultimately providing the most accurate inventory results. Some supported reader types include; hand-held, portal readers, fixed readers, Forklift readers, Bulk-encoders, as well as Conveyor/Order Verification RFID readers.

The system provides the framework to establish your complete Supply Chain Network including Suppliers, Distribution Centers, and Retail locations. Administrators have supply chain wide System visibility allowing them to view inventory at every level.
User Access and Role Assignment
Each user can be granted mobile/web/both access, general or location specific access, and/or Roles specific permissions/restrictions. Administrators are able to assign system users then have rights to apply these permissions or restrictions as necessary.
IT Based / Dynamic Supply-Chain-Wide Serialization Allocation
Our system utilizes the GS1 standard of IT based, dynamic serialization allocation. Since it is critical each RFID tag contains a unique serial number, the system must track which serial numbers have been requested, then allocate a unique set for each request.
These serialization requests can come from many locations and users; via Print Jobs (printing through the Extranet), print files ( which are downloaded), API requests (from 3rd parties), Order Verification station (QC station) with its ability to print missing tags, as well as requests made from mobile app users, using the handheld reader to encode.
Automating reordering product via Par Templates
Users may create templates which contain Reorder Threshold Pars. These templates allow a user to generate a Purchase Order against the current quantity of that item automatically. simple.RFID makes it easy to manage the restoring of stock by simply loading the desired template and performing an RFID audit an Order can automatically be created.
Automatic Verification of Purchase Orders

Users may generate RFID tags in relation to a Purchase Order. This links the serial numbers generated for the tags, to the corresponding PO. The linking of these serial numbers to the PO allows us automatically confirm the completeness of each PO.
Quality Control Station

simple.RFID streamlines the process of verifying customer order accuracy, leveraging RFIDs benefit of not “seeing” the product to verify it. Users can rapidly verify accuracy of orders by reading the outside of the closed box, eliminating the need to open each one and inspect its’ contents.

Open Loop & Closed Loop
We offer a custom ASCII Closed Loop option for companies wishing to not use GS1 standards.
For companies who sell into national retailers and utilize the UPC, we provide the GS1 standard SGTIN, which is the RFID equivalent to the UPC.
